October 5, 2006.
On September 25, 2006, Commission staff delivered the Draft
Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the relicensing of the

Klamath River, in Klamath County, Oregon and Siskiyou County,
California. The existing project occupies a total of 219 acres of land
administered by the U.S. Bureaus of Land Management and Reclamation.
It also evaluates the environmental effects of implementing the
licensee's proposals, agency and NGO recommendations, staff's
recommendations, and the no-action alternative.
