The Klamath County Board of Commissioners set two dates aside to hear
concerns and questions about the recently released Klamath Basin
Restoration Agreement.
Public hearings will be at
7 p.m.
Jan. 28 and Feb. 4 at the
Klamath
County
Government
Center
in the commissioners’
hearing room. Presentations by those who worked on the
agreement are being arranged and those in attendance may ask questions.
“After two years of participating in those
negotiating sessions, I am quite prepared to recommend that the board
extend the public comment period to ensure that concerns are addressed
and questions are asked and answered,” said Commissioner John Elliott
in a press release.
