Refuge plan
meetings set for this week
Plan will
direct how refuge is run for 15 years

Public meetings
on a proposed management plan for the Klamath Marsh
National Wildlife Refuge, on the
Williamson River in northern Klamath County, will be
from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Klamath Falls
Shilo Inn, 2500 Almond St., and from 6:30 to 8:30
p.m. Wednesday at the Chiloquin Community Center,
216 First Ave, according to a news release.
The plan will
direct how the refuge is managed for the next 15
years and identifies wildlife-dependent recreational
opportunities, including hunting, fishing, wildlife
observation and photography, environmental
education and interpretation.
The plan may be
viewed at

kmarshccphtml or in person 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Monday through Friday at the Klamath Basin National
Wildlife Refuge Complex, 4009 Hill Road in Tulelake.
