Try
dredging lake before removing dams
Klamath Falls Herald
and News Letter to the editor
January 8, 2008
This is a complaint about the possible removal of dams
on the
Klamath River
.
First of all, if they really study what they are
presenting, there would be just a trickle of water going down what used
to be
Klamath River
. The smart ones who
understand what could happen would want to dredge
Klamath
Lake
from 4 feet to 6 feet to
clean it up and make the water cooler so trout and salmon could live in
it.
It sounds like it would be hard on the algae growers,
but that is what is preventing the good eating fish to survive.
I hope someone on the board has enough sense to see
what would and could happen to the
Klamath River
.
