Highway 140 runs across the photo. The old Hunt Ranch grain field at bottom and the old Caledonia Marsh pasture to the left of the brown dike. Just to the right is the Geary Canal. The green field in the upper left is the start of the Running Y Ranch - farm land that is protected from flooding by an 8 foot dike.
The Skillethandle - before the flood, grain fields and marsh. Now the flood covers it all including two of the Running Y Ranch Resort golf holes.
That's some water hazard.
Flood waters almost reach to the Running Y Ranch Resort Club House.
What was once part of Upper Klamath Lake - reclaimed for farmland - now back to being lake again.
