8th Annual Freedom21 National Conference Program Announced

Henry LambThe 8th Annual Freedom21 National Conference will be held in Dallas, Texas, July 19-21. The conference theme this year is: "The North American Union and the Trans-Texas Corridor." This important topic will be examined by experts to provide current, relevant information that you need to help persuade the policy makers in your state.

The program may be viewed at the Freedom21 website.

Tom DeWeese, President of the American Policy Center, and Cathie Adams, President of Texas Eagle Forum, will serve as moderators of this year's conference. Both organizations are among the founders of the Freedom21 Campaign. Speakers include: Dr. Bonner Cohen, Steve Milloy, Patrick Wood - on the opening day!

As has become the custom at these annual events, there will be a get-acquainted reception on Thursday night, featuring goodies from the host state.

Cathie Adams and Craig Rucker will report on their experiences at recent U.N. meetings. Cathie attended a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve meeting in Paris, and Craig attended a Climate Change meeting in Nairobi, Kenya. Dr. Michael Coffman will discuss NAFTA, CAFTA, and the FTAA. Dan Byfield, from Liberty Matters, will conduct a segment on the Trans-Texas Corridor.

These are just a few of the speakers who always bring a powerful program to the Freedom21 Conference. Examine the program, and watch as new speakers are added.

A brand new dimension will be added this year: the first annual meeting of the Freedom21 Federal Credit Union. Participants at previous Freedom21 conferences know that the Environmental Conservation Organization, also a founding member of the Freedom21 Campaign, has been working for more than two years to create a credit union especially for the freedom movement. It is now a reality. The first annual members' meeting will be held during the conference this year, especially for the purpose of ratifying the election of the original board of directors.

Also new this year, is the option to finance your conference expenses. If you are a member of the Freedom21 Federal Credit Uion, you may set up a line of credit and finance all or part of your conference expenses for up to 12 months. To get more information about this offer, call the Freedom21 Federal Credit Union office at 731-625-2121.

This year's conference is likely to be the best yet. It certainly focuses on subjects that are extremely important to the future of the nation. Plan now to attend. Register early.
