Grange Co-op and Noonan Farms of Klamath Falls are donating a truckload of organic potatoes to food banks in Jackson, Josephine and Klamath counties today, Nov. 22 and Tuesday Nov. 23.

The potatoes were grown by Noonan Farms in Klamath Falls. Central Point's Rogue Creamery is collaborating in the event, by donating 200 pounds of cheese to local food banks as well.

Mike and Karen Noonan own and operate Noonan Farms, which features 15,000 acres of organic products. In addition to potatoes, the farm also grows and harvests organic alfalfa, soft white wheat, barley, oat seed, carrots and sweet onions.

Potatoes will be delivered to the following Jackson and Josephine county locations:

Josephine County: Four pallets to Josephine County Food Bank and one pallet to Grants Pass Gospel Rescue Mission.

Medford: Three pallets to St. Vincent de Paul, one pallet to Medford Gospel Rescue Mission, and six pallets to the ACCESS Food Pantry Network.

Ashland: Two pallets to Ashland Emergency Food Bank.
