The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has extended the public comment period for a proposal that would revise water quality standards used to regulate levels of toxic pollutants in Oregon waterways.
 
The new deadline for submitting comments to DEQ on this proposed rulemaking is 5 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2011.
