Few
Rule the Many
By Nita Still, Montague

page 19, column 4
This morning (Wednesday, June
27) I ran off 17 pages telling about
Democracy. It seems like Obama, the
Mainstream Media and the GAG's (Green
Advocacy Group's) are using the word
Democracy quite a bit lately. It can mean
the many rule the few or it can mean the few
rule the many. Right now it is safe to say
the few rule the many. You can see it in the
GAG's wanting to take out the dams. They are
all trained on how to create "Transition
Towns." They are in Mt. Shasta now. Part of
it is showing various sustainable movies of
what they want to happen and talking how the
earth is being destroyed by Humans.
The last two weeks, the Fish and Wildlife
let them show their movies X2, in their
building and were in attendance and agreed
with them, that the "Dams should be taken
out, it would be good for the economy." When
I asked "How?" no answer was given.
Probably, temporary jobs, taking out the
dams. A Klammath River Keeper even said: "If
the Supervisors want to keep the dams, why
aren't they doing something about it?" You
can hear it in their passionate speech and
see it in their actions, that the dams will
and must be taken out!
This is a shame, for our Freedoms and
Sovereignty are being attacked in every
manner and form, even from the Fish and
Wildlife. On page 8, there is listed a
Non-governmental Democracy. This is amazing!
This is what it said: "Aside from the public
sphere, similar democratic principles and
mechanisms of voting and representation have
been used to govern other kinds of
communities and organizations." "Many
non-governmental organizations (NGO's)
decide policy and leadership by voting."
This "voting" is done among their group.
This is where the few rule the many. As you
may know all NGO's are listed with the
United Nations. All GAG's are NGO's. Page
10: A Republic: "The Founding Fathers of the
United States rarely praised and often
criticized democracy, which in their time
tended to specifically mean direct
democracy; James Madison argued, especially
in The Federalist No.10, that what
distinguished a Democracy from a Republic
was that the former became weaker as it got
larger and suffered more violently from the
effects of faction; whereas a Republic could
get stronger as it got larger and combats
faction by it's very structure. What was
critical to American values, John Adams
insisted, was that 'the government be bound
by fixed laws,' which the people have a
voice in making and a right to defend." "As
Benjamin Franklin was exiting after writing
the U.S. Constitution, a woman asked him:
"Sir, what have you given us?" He replied. A
Republic ma'am if you can keep
it." "Currently, opposition to democracy
exists in Communist states, Absolute
Monarchies and Islamic governments, which
appear to have various reasons for opposing
the implementation of democracy or
democratic reforms."
Now there is a new group that has formed in
Mt. Shasta. It is called:
All these are SUSTAINABLE, teaching you how
to live by your own means!
Thank you for contemplating.
