Some folks have said that
being the environmentalist that I am seems
to be a conflict when fighting our own
government on water and fish issues. I have
been fighting for the environment for over
30 years. During that time I have seen more
environmental disasters created by our
government. Most specifically by California
Department of Fish and Game.
There are many government
agencies trying to play god that have caused
more damage to the environment than anyone
else. They have wasted hundreds of millions
of dollars of our tax dollars. The
government is holding OUR tax dollars
hostage. If we don't give up our property,
water and civil rights, we do not get the
monies. We must break the chain of
dependency with the state and federal
government. It has turned in to a sick
codependent relationship. We must not
tolerate this kind of government any longer.
Our county supervisors are selling us out.
And they have knowingly appointed their
cohorts to positions that have direct
conflicts of interest in order carry out
their agenda of taking monies.
It is criminal to promote and
endorse programs that violate our
constitutional rights. They have no
authority to force or pressure us into
contracts that the government will use
against us and threaten to prosecute us if
we don't go along with their agenda. This
must Stop.
For Scott Valley we must
replace Marcia Armstrong. She no longer
represents the people. She and the other
supervisors have the power to stop the state
and federal government. They have the tools
but will not use them. They are too
concerned with their own politics and power.
Folks this has got to Stop!
Let it began with us. Look not to Sacramento
or Washington D.C. Let us start right here
at home. We need to hold our county
government's feet to the fire. If they will
not represent us then we must recall these
elected officials. We need elected folks
with the resolve the stand up to the state
and the fed's and demand accountability.
"Should I keep back my opinions at such a
time, through Fear of giving offense, I
should consider myself as guilty of treason
towards my country, and of an act of
disloyalty toward the Majesty of Heaven
which I revere above all earthly kings."-
Patrick Henry
