Tell the truth
please

To the Editor:
It is apparent
most folks who
wish to stop
mining in
California
waters center
around their own
greed.
If those who believe
it is ok to purchase
fishing licenses to
kill fish or
illegally allow dip
net fishing then,
please prove
scientifically how
miners are
deliberately killing
fish. There is no
proof and it is the
same old story
greedy folks wanting
their special
interest protected
and fighting over a
limited resource.
The Federal right to
mine has more
authority then
California state
laws and that seems
to be forgotten. It
would be nice for a
change if the folks
who are filing the
lawsuits to stop
gold dredging would
start telling the
truth about how many
state regulations
are forced upon the
gold miners that
help protect the
very fish they want
to kill.
