Speakers include POW Chairman Craig Chenoweth and Vice
Chairman Mark Baird.
Baird, who told the Daily News he will be wearing a
holster Saturday evening, emphasized that doing so was
not meant to imply a threat of violence on the part of
group members who choose to do so.
Instead, the symbolic move is “to let the government
know that we intend to protect the rights given to us by
the Constitution,” he explained. However, because some
POW members expressed the feeling that wearing holsters
would give some people the wrong impression, the POW
board decided against officially sanctioning it.
Instead, Baird said, individuals can choose to do so or
not on their own.
For those who choose to bring empty holsters, copies of
the Constitution to place in them will be available at
the rally for $1 apiece.
“There will be a variety of groups on hand to share
information regarding their situation,” the release
continues. “Networking and education are important
aspects of this water rally. Come prepared to share and
to learn.”
A tri-tip barbecue cooked by Keith Bradley and Keith
Cool is set for 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for age 13 and
up; and $5 for 12 and under, and are available at Etna

Siskiyou County will each share a five-minute message,
the release states.
