Missions possible for you

Being a consumer like you, I wonder about stuff like, how safe is food? Am I getting a good buy on fuel?  Doesn't anyone notice how our land and water is being moved out of resource production and into Eunuch land?

Knowing wondering doesn't give a whit of help to the beauty the beast bites,  I got to work on some missions possible for you and I!

Call your representatives.  Yup!  All of them.  City, county, state, federal.  Tell them first off, to BAP the farm bill.

What's BAP?  Add the raw off the land production - regardless the resource.... logs/fish/cattle/corn...of an acre from the year 2000 backwards to 1985; divide by 15. That gives the basis from where everything should then be routed: i.e. that acre's Baseline Acre Production (BAP).

This will also show the water needs for maintaining that acres BAP.

BAP should then be used by land/water use authorities, as a guideline to determine to what extent land/water could, or could not, be taken out of production.

BAP should  be used as a non-partisan, equitable means of curing (by the government/insurance etc.) losses not generated by the producer, but instead by any un-welcome act of nature or litigation that brings an un-acceptable drop below BAP.

Incorporation of BAP into the Farm Bill would bring to you, the consumer, insurance of product safety, supply, quality, and price.

After all, keep in mind that America cannot provide anything you need to survive, from a ethereal Eunuch land of window sill gardens, playgrounds, migrating gummer snails, and concrete driveways.

Now that you've accomplished that mission, here's another area that will save you money.

Recommend they Reinstate Permit Owner (RPO) usage and care of public lands.

What's this all about?

Well, when Clinton designated the Canyons of the Ancients, Grand Escalante National Staircase Monument, and other monuments in 2000, individuals who owned permits to use those lands were immediately encumbered from doing so.

Some permit owners subsequently sold out and moved The work they did for free to protect those lands and antiquities, is now done by government employees... at an untold cost to you.

Recent news stated an increase in vandalism and theft of antiquities in many of these areas.

Now we have the un-necessary cost of paying government employees -compounded by loosing our: living landscapes, independence from un-friendly nations, American jobs and products, and the immeasurable value of our history.

If you're sincere in your want to protect land, water and critters, get out and clean up public road ditches, wetlands, parks, monuments, and adopt an abandoned cat. It'd be cheaper than contributing to groups and government employees who claim to be protectors, and you'll get great satisfaction out of seeing first hand the result of your efforts.

The way the U.S. agriculture budget is usually reported, you're misled into believing resource producers are continually gifted large sums of money for doing nothing.  Ask to see the real breakout.  There, you'll find allocations for and including school lunch programs, food stamps, feral horse upkeep, non-profit environmental groups litigating eminent domain/endangered species/willing seller and easements, government payroll, and who knows what.

The last mission for you is a very COOL thing.  Ask your restaurateur, butcher, grocer, what country the steak, pot roast or hamburger you're about to order came from. Tell them everything you eat and use has a Country of Origin Label (aka COOL) except your beef.  Tell them labeling your filet would be mighty COOL of them.

OK.  Let's go over this again.  Call your representative, and tell him or her you want them to RPO,  BAP, and be COOL about it!

This would bring to you, the CONSUMER  (You, are the most important part of this entire equation!)..insurance of product: supply, safety, quality, and price.
