Announcement
President George W. Bush announced
today that he intends to nominate one person, designate one person,
and appoint three people to serve in his Administration:
The President intends to nominate
Charles E. Dorkey III, of New York, to be a Member of the Advisory
Board of the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation.
The President intends to designate
Stanley E. Taylor, of Virginia, to be Chairman of the Commission on
Presidential Scholars.
The President intends to appoint Mark
B. Murphy, of New Mexico, to be a Member of the Advisory Board of the
National Air and Space Museum.
The President intends to appoint Debra
Lynn Crisp, of Oregon, to be a Member of the Klamath River Compact
Commission (Federal Representative) and upon appointment, designate
Chairman.
The President intends to appoint Steven
M. Colloton, of Iowa, to be a Member of the Board of Trustees of the
James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation (Federal Judiciary) for
the remainder of a six year term expiring October 4, 2012.
